FAST SERVER NARRATION

Server voice

The server generates the bundled Scripture passage and shares cached audio. No voice model downloads to this device. Draco is a different voice from George. Requires internet; imported text and pronunciation notes use Browser voice.

Ready to connect when you listen.

LOCAL NEURAL VOICE

Natural voice

Recommended: George, a measured British English voice. Enable once to download the Kokoro model (about 92 MB, plus speech files). Speech is generated on this device; the passage is not uploaded. The browser may retain the model for later visits. Initial setup needs internet and can take several minutes.

Allow the voice model and speech files to download from Hugging Face and jsDelivr when I enable natural voice.
